Mrs. Tamar Chezhia is an agronomist working in blueberry farms in Georgia since 2019. She earned a Master’s degree in Biology in 1995. In 2017, she developed an interest in blueberry cultivation in Georgia and completed modular and intensive training on blueberry care, cultivation, and protection (UNDP, USAID, MASHAV, AFAD). Since 2022, she has been a PhD student at the Agricultural University of Georgia, her doctorate is a study on the diseases of Blueberry (Vaccinium Corymbosum L.) and implementing
measures for their biocontrol in the conditions of Western Georgia funded by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. Her interests include modern agroecological approaches and healthy crop production.
