Prof. Carly Stevens is a Professor of Plant Ecology and Soil Biogeochemistry at Lancaster Environment Centre, Lancaster University. I completed my PhD in 2004 at The Open University. After several postdoctoral roles, I began working at Lancaster University as a lecturer in 2012, being promoted to chair in 2020. My research is focused on plant ecology and I lead a large multi-institute, BBSRC funded PhD training programme on food security. I have published over 180 academic papers in leading journals.
